Installation Process
ON-SITE CONSULTATION & EVALUATION
Assess the concrete condition, moisture levels, and use case. Select the right coating system for the environment.
MECHANICAL SURFACE PREPARATION
Concrete is mechanically ground using professional equipment to remove weak surface layers, open pores, and create the bond profile needed for a coating to stay locked in. This is the most critical step.
MOISTURE EVALUATION
Moisture issues cause peeling and delamination if ignored. We evaluate the concrete and address concerns before installing the system. If mitigation is declined, warranty coverage for moisture-related issues is voided.
BASE COAT APPLICATION
The initial layer bonds to the concrete and anchors the entire system. System selection (epoxy or polyaspartic base) is based on slab condition and use case.
FLAKE BROADCAST (FULL FLAKE SYSTEM)
Colored vinyl flakes are broadcast into the wet base coat for decorative finish, texture, and traction. Coverage is full for the standard system.
POLYASPARTIC TOP COAT
A clear, durable polyaspartic topcoat is applied to lock in the flake and protect the entire system. Provides UV resistance, gloss, and long-term durability.
FINAL INSPECTION & WALKTHROUGH
Review the completed floor with the customer. Explain cure times, maintenance best practices, and warranty terms.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO INSTALL A GARAGE FLOOR COATING?
Most residential garage floors are completed in one day. The floor is typically ready for light foot traffic in about 6 hours, and full use within 24–48 hours depending on the project.
IS EPOXY OR POLYASPARTIC BETTER?
Both have their strengths. Polyaspartic cures faster, resists UV yellowing, and handles Ohio's temperature swings well — making it the preferred choice for most one-day installations. Epoxy provides excellent adhesion and may be recommended as a build coat for certain slab conditions. We'll recommend the right system based on your concrete and how you use the space.
WILL A COATING HIDE CRACKS OR DAMAGED CONCRETE?
Coatings are not a structural repair solution. We can fill minor cracks and joints before coating, but significant concrete damage should be addressed first. We'll assess the slab during the consultation and be upfront about what can and can't be addressed.

Moisture Evaluation — Always Documented
Effective immediately: all moisture evaluations must be documented on the job sheet before any coating is applied. If the customer declines mitigation, note it in writing and have them sign off. This protects the warranty and the company.
